A RESOLUTION REQUESTING BANKO SENTRAL NG PILIPINAS

TO ESTABLISH A REGIONAL OFFICE AT CARAGA REGION

WHEREAS, the business chambers of the Caraga region recognize the vital role of the banking sector in the conduct of business transactions;

WHEREAS, the absence of a regional office of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in Caraga have in certain degree affected the efficiency in the delivery of financial services by the local banking institution to their clientele;

Surigao City, Surigao del Norte-This year’s 14^th Caraga Business Conference held last November 28, 2008 at Hotel Tavern Surigao, Surigao City was a success notwithstanding the absence of the host governor, Hon. Robert Ace Barbers and mayor, Hon. Alfonso S. Casurra, who were both on official business in Manila.
